Naukri Mitra seeks an experienced and motivated remote education IT consultant to support the transformation of educational institutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Consultation and Strategy Development: Provide strategic IT consulting services to educational institutions to identify their technology needs and develop customized IT strategies. Understand the unique requirements of schools, colleges, and universities to propose appropriate solutions that enhance the learning experience, support teaching, and streamline administrative functions.
• System Implementation and Integration: I will assist in planning, implementing, and integrating IT systems such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), Student Information Systems (SIS), and other e-learning platforms. I will ensure a smooth transition to new systems and integration with existing technology infrastructure to support enhanced teaching and learning processes.
• EdTech Solutions and Digital Transformation: We lead digital transformation initiatives by assisting educational institutions in adopting emerging technologies such as e-learning platforms, blended learning tools, and virtual classrooms. We also guide clients in implementing digital tools that promote an engaging and interactive learning environment for students and faculty.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide remote technical support for IT systems, including LMS, SIS, online collaboration tools, and network infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and connectivity issues promptly to minimize disruptions to the educational process.
• Teacher and Staff Training: Develop and conduct training sessions for teachers, administrative staff, and other users to ensure they can effectively use new systems. Create instructional materials, guides, and best practices documentation to enhance the adoption and use of educational technology.
• Data Management and Reporting: Assist institutions in managing student data securely and efficiently. Develop data reporting tools and dashboards to provide insights into student performance, attendance, and administrative metrics, helping educators make informed decisions that improve student outcomes.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with various stakeholders, including educators, administrators, IT teams, and technology vendors, to understand the requirements and challenges institutions face. Collaborate effectively to deliver IT solutions that meet the specific needs of educational clients.
• Cybersecurity and Compliance: Ensure IT systems comply with data privacy regulations such as FERPA and GDPR. Implement best practices in cybersecurity to safeguard sensitive student information, academic records, and other critical data.
• Infrastructure Management and Optimization: Assess and optimize existing IT infrastructure to ensure the highest performance, security, and reliability. Recommend upgrades or changes to systems, network hardware, or software to align with institutional goals and support growth.
• Virtual Classroom Setup and Maintenance: Assist institutions in setting up and maintaining virtual classrooms, ensuring that online education tools such as video conferencing platforms, digital whiteboards, and e-learning content work seamlessly and support an engaging remote learning experience.
• Accessibility and Inclusive Learning Solutions: Recommend and implement technology solutions that ensure accessibility for all students, including those with disabilities. Work to create inclusive learning environments using assistive technologies and following accessibility standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education Technology, or a related field. Certifications in relevant areas such as ITIL, PMP, or Google for Education are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT consulting, with significant experience in the education sector. Proven experience in implementing and managing LMS, SIS, e-learning platforms, and other educational technology solutions.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of education technology systems, including LMS, SIS, video conferencing platforms, and collaboration tools. Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data analytics tools like Power BI.
• Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a track record of addressing technical issues effectively. Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve IT challenges that impact the educational environment.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to educators and non-technical stakeholders. Experience in delivering presentations, conducting workshops, and providing training for diverse audiences.
• Project Management: Proven experience managing IT projects in the education sector, including system implementations, upgrades, and training initiatives. Ability to manage project timelines, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Customer Focus: A deep understanding of the education sector and a passion for enhancing the teaching and learning experience through technology. Ability to build strong relationships with clients and deliver IT solutions that support educators and administrators in achieving their goals.
• Attention to Detail: I pay close attention to detail in system analysis, project execution, and data reporting. I can ensure that IT systems meet compliance requirements and support the unique needs of educational institutions.
• Remote Work Experience: Experience working effectively in a remote work environment, utilizing collaboration tools like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Slack. Ability to work independently and maintain strong communication with clients and team members.
