Role Overview:

We seek a Remote Financial Analyst who will be pivotal in providing financial insights and helping our clients make well-informed business decisions. The ideal candidate will analyze financial data, prepare financial models, evaluate investment opportunities, and present actionable insights. Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Analysis and Reporting:
   • Analyze financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
   • Prepare and present financial reports and summaries for management, highlighting trends, variances, and insights.
   • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
2. Financial Modeling:
   • Develop, update, and maintain financial models to assist in forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
   • By building comprehensive financial models, assist in evaluating new projects, investments, and acquisitions.
   • Analyze key financial indicators and metrics, providing data-driven insights for decision-making.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting:
   • Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term strategic plans.
   • Work closely with different teams to gather necessary data for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
   • Track financial performance against budgets and forecasts and provide variance analysis and explanations.
4. Investment Analysis and Risk Assessment:
   • Conducted detailed analysis of investment opportunities and prepared recommendations based on financial data.
   • Perform risk assessment by analyzing economic, industry, and market trends.
   • Evaluate the financial impact of various business initiatives and recommend optimal strategies to mitigate financial risk.
5. Financial Planning and Strategy:
   • Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic financial plans that align with company objectives.
   • Provide financial insights and guidance on strategic initiatives, business operations, and performance improvement opportunities.
   • Prepare and present financial analysis to support decision-making for growth, restructuring, and cost optimization projects.
6. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
   • Partner with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and sales, to provide financial guidance and ensure alignment with economic goals.
   • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand their financial needs and provide valuable insights.
   • Assist in preparing presentations for investors, stakeholders, and executive teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) or relevant certifications (CFA, CPA, CMA) is a plus.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, financial modeling, and reporting is required. Experience working remotely or with remote teams is an advantage.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and experience using financial modeling tools.
  • Experience with financial software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or other ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent is advantageous.
• Financial Acumen: In-depth understanding of financial statements, ratios, metrics, and modeling techniques.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex financial scenarios and propose data-driven solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey financial insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Competencies:
