Job Overview:
As a Remote Education Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in transforming the digital learning experience by analyzing, understanding, and enhancing various educational processes and platforms. You will work closely with multiple teams, including product developers, educators, stakeholders, and customers, to identify requirements, design solutions, and ensure optimal performance of remote learning initiatives. The ideal candidate should have experience in business analysis within the education or edtech industry, a passion for enhancing digital learning environments, and strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and define the criteria for educational initiatives. Translate these requirements into comprehensive business specifications and user stories for the development team.
• Process Improvement: Analyze current educational processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement. Propose and implement solutions to enhance user experience, maximize engagement, and drive efficiencies in online education delivery.
• Market Research and Trend Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for the company’s remote learning products. Stay informed of emerging educational technologies and industry best practices to help shape the product strategy.
• Stakeholder Management: I liaise between internal teams (product, development, and operations) and external stakeholders (educators and clients). I facilitate communication and inform all stakeholders about project milestones and deliverables.
• Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to student engagement, platform performance, and course completion. Utilize insights from data to make recommendations for product enhancements and improved educational outcomes.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Develop and execute new features and functionalities testing plans. Collaborate with the QA team to ensure that solutions meet the defined business requirements and are ready for deployment.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, functional specifications, and user guides. Ensure that all project documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members.
• Project Coordination: I will assist the project management team in planning and coordinating the implementation of new educational products and features. I will ensure that projects are delivered on time and meet quality expectations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Education Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP) is a plus.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the education, edtech, or software development sectors.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex educational needs and translate them into practical business solutions.
• Technical Proficiency: Being familiar with educational technology platforms, learning management systems (LMS), and other remote learning tools is desirable. Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel and Tableau) is also desirable.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders, manage expectations, and foster productive working relationships.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to document processes and requirements accurately.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment with changing priorities and requirements.
