Position Overview:

We seek a Junior Market Research Analyst to join our clients' remote team. In this role, you will support market research activities, gather and analyze data, and provide insights contributing to strategic decision-making. You will work closely with senior analysts to collect information, generate reports, and assist in identifying trends and opportunities within various markets. This position is ideal for a self-motivated individual looking to build a strong foundation in market research and make an impact in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection & Analysis: Collect and compile data from various sources, including surveys, databases, and industry reports. Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to uncover insights into market trends, customer behavior, and competitive activities.
  • Market Research & Reporting: Conduct primary and secondary market research to assess current market conditions, industry trends, and emerging opportunities. Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings for senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Survey Design & Execution: I support the design, development, and execution of surveys to gather customer insights, understand market demand, and evaluate product performance. I also validate responses to ensure the accuracy and reliability of survey data.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitors' activities, including product offerings, pricing, marketing strategies, and market positioning. Prepare competitor analysis reports to provide insights into the competitive landscape.
  • Customer Insights: Work with senior analysts to analyze customer data, segment audiences, and develop profiles based on customer behavior and preferences. Use this information to support targeted marketing and business development strategies.
  • Data Visualization: Create clear and informative visualizations, such as charts, graphs, and dashboards, to effectively communicate research findings to stakeholdersโ€”present insights in a format that is easy to understand and actionable.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments, including marketing, sales, product development, and finance, to understand their information needs. Provide support in delivering relevant market insights that help shape business strategies.
  • Trend Identification: Identify key industry trends, technological advancements, and consumer preferences. Provide insights that help the organization stay competitive and responsive to market changes.
  • Project Support: I support senior analysts in managing research projects, including setting timelines, tracking progress, and ensuring that deliverables are met on schedule. I also assist with various administrative tasks related to market research projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field is required. A strong academic background in market research or data analysis is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in market research, data analysis, or a similar role. Internship experience in market research is a plus.
  • Research & Analytical Skills: Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insightsโ€”proficiency in using qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau. Basic knowledge of statistical software, such as SPSS or R, is a plus but not required.
