Job Description:

As a Remote Endocrinology Transcriptionist at Naukri Mitra, you will be vital in providing accurate and timely transcription services to endocrinology healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong listening skills, an excellent command of endocrinology-related medical terminology, and the ability to transcribe complex medical information precisely. You will be responsible for ensuring that healthcare professionals have access to detailed, error-free patient records, helping to improve patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transcribe medical dictations and audio recordings provided by endocrinologists into accurate written documents.
• Review and edit transcribed documents to ensure proper grammar, terminology, and accuracy.
• Understand and apply medical terminology related to endocrinology, including conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal gland issues, and other hormonal abnormalities.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company guidelines.
• To complete assignments efficiently, utilize specialized transcription software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Collaborate with endocrinologists and other healthcare professionals to clarify discrepancies in transcriptions or unclear dictations.
• Manage assigned workload and ensure timely delivery of transcribed documents.
• Maintain consistency in transcriptions' formatting, accuracy, and clarity while following established style guides and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a medical transcriptionist, preferably with expertise in endocrinology.
• Proficiency in medical terminology, primarily related to the endocrine system, disorders, and treatment plans.
• Strong listening skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written communication skills and command of the English language.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
