Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Virtual Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. As a key player in the supply chain management process, you will play a critical role in analyzing, optimizing, and streamlining our supply chain operations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of products. Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Analysis & Optimization

  • Data Collection & Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret complex data related to supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain processes, reduce lead times, and minimize costs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve operational excellence.
  • Forecasting & Demand Planning: Work closely with the demand planning team to develop accurate forecasts for product demand. Use historical data and market trends to create demand plans that ensure optimal inventory levels and reduce the risk of stockouts or overstock situations.
  • KPI Development & Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain activities. Regularly monitor performance metrics to ensure targets are met and identify areas for improvement.

Logistics & Inventory Management

  • Inventory Control: Oversee inventory levels across multiple warehouses and distribution centers. Implement inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels, reduce excess inventory, and avoid shortages.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and ensure a reliable supply of materials and products.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate and manage the logistics of product shipments, including inbound and outbound transportation. Ensure timely delivery of goods while minimizing transportation costs and optimizing route efficiency.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain, such as disruptions in supply, transportation delays, or market fluctuations. Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.

Technology & Systems Integration

  • ERP & Supply Chain Software: Utilize enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and supply chain management software to manage and optimize supply chain processes. Ensure data accuracy and integrity within these systems.
  • Data Visualization & Reporting: Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights into supply chain performance. Use data visualization tools to communicate complex information to stakeholders clearly and concisely.
  • Automation & Digital Transformation: Support the adoption of digital technologies and automation in supply chain processes. Identify opportunities for automation and work with IT teams to implement solutions that improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.

Qualifications

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, inventory management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of optimizing supply chain processes and delivering measurable improvements in cost, efficiency, and performance.
  • Experience working in a remote environment and managing supply chain operations across multiple geographic locations is preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in supply chain management software and tools, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of automation tools and technologies relevant to supply chain operations.
