Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Online Learning and Development Consultant to join our team. This remote position requires a professional with a deep understanding of e-learning technologies, instructional design, and strategic training development. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing online learning programs that enhance skills and drive performance improvements across various organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Curriculum Design and Development:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify learning needs and objectives.
    • Develop comprehensive e-learning curricula and instructional materials tailored to diverse audiences.
    • Create engaging and interactive online courses using various e-learning tools and platforms.
  2. Instructional Design:
    • Apply instructional design principles to develop effective learning experiences.
    • Design course content that incorporates multimedia elements, such as videos, quizzes, and simulations.
    • Ensure instructional materials are pedagogically sound and aligned with learning outcomes.
  3. Technology Integration:
    • Evaluate and recommend e-learning platforms, tools, and technologies that meet the needs of the organization.
    • Implement and manage online learning systems, ensuring functionality and user-friendliness.
    • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in online learning and incorporate innovative solutions.
  4. Training Delivery and Facilitation:
    • Facilitate virtual training sessions and workshops for employees, managers, and other stakeholders.
    • Provide support and guidance to learners, addressing their questions and challenges.
    • Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make adjustments as needed to improve learning outcomes.
  5. Project Management:
    • Lead and manage multiple e-learning projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.
    • Develop project plans, set milestones, and track progress against goals.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, graphic designers, and developers.
  6. Evaluation and Reporting:
    • Design and implement evaluation strategies to measure the impact of training programs.
    • Analyze data and feedback to assess the effectiveness of learning initiatives.
    • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on training outcomes and recommendations for improvement.
  7. Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their learning needs.
    • Provide expert advice and guidance on best practices in online learning and development.
    • Customize solutions to address specific challenges and goals of each client or organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Human Resources, or a related field. Masterโ€™s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, e-learning development, or a related role.
  • Proven expertise in designing and delivering online learning programs using various e-learning platforms and tools.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and educational technologies.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in instructional design or e-learning development (e.g., Certified Professional in Learning and Performance, CPLP).
  • Experience with agile project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with graphic design and multimedia production tools.
