Job Summary:

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Employee Relations Manager to join our dynamic human resources team in a fully remote capacity. As the Employee Relations Manager, you will oversee and manage all employee relations functions, ensuring a positive, productive, and compliant work environment. You will work closely with managers, team leaders, and employees across all departments to address employee concerns, develop and implement policies, and foster a culture of trust, inclusivity, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Employee Relations Strategy & Policy Implementation:
    • Lead the development and implementation of employee relations policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency, fairness, and alignment with company values and legal requirements.

    • Investigate and resolve workplace issues and complaints about harassment, discrimination, grievances, and other employee concerns.

    • Provide recommendations for corrective actions and support managers in implementing these recommendations effectively.

    • Utilize HR data and analytics to track employee relations metrics, such as employee turnover, absenteeism, and complaints, and identify trends and potential problem areas.
    • Prepared and presented reports to senior management on employee relations activities, investigation outcomes, and recommendations for improvement.
    • Use data to proactively address areas of concern and implement solutions that improve employee satisfaction and retention.

    • Lead and mentor a small team of HR professionals, providing guidance and direction in their daily tasks and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in employee relations, human resources management, or a similar role, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership position.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including ADA, FMLA, Title VII, and other relevant legislation.
  • Proven experience conducting workplace investigations and resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and mediation skills, with the ability to manage sensitive issues confidentially and professionally.
  • Ability to work independently remotely while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and employee relations software.
