Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Learning and Development Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training programs that enhance employee skills and organizational performance. As a key player in our Learning and Development (L&D) department, you will work closely with stakeholders to assess training needs, develop educational materials, and deliver engaging learning experiences. Your expertise in adult learning principles and virtual training tools will be essential in ensuring our employees receive high-quality training that aligns with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training Program Development and Management:
    • Design and develop comprehensive training programs that address the needs of diverse employee groups.
    • Create instructional materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, and multimedia content.
    • Ensure training content is up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with industry best practices and organizational objectives.
  2. Needs Assessment and Analysis:
    • Conduct needs assessments to identify skills gaps and training requirements across various departments.
    • Collaborate with managers and employees to determine specific training needs and desired outcomes.
    • Utilize data and feedback to continuously improve training programs and methodologies.
  3. Virtual Training Delivery:
    • Facilitate and deliver virtual training sessions using various online platforms and tools.
    • Engage participants through interactive and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions, gathering feedback and making necessary adjustments.
  4. Learning Management System (LMS) Administration:
    • Manage and maintain the LMS, including course uploads, user access, and reporting.
    • Track employee progress and completion rates, ensuring accurate records and reporting.
    • Provide support and troubleshooting assistance for LMS users.
  5. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with department heads and HR teams to align training initiatives with organizational goals and priorities.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with external training vendors and consultants as needed.
    • Communicate training plans, schedules, and updates effectively to employees and stakeholders.
  6. Evaluation and Reporting:
    • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations, surveys, and performance metrics.
    • Prepare and present reports on training outcomes, participant feedback, and program impact.
    • Recommend improvements based on evaluation results and industry trends.
  7. Continuous Learning and Improvement:
    • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in L&D.
    • Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and knowledge enhancement.
    • Implement new approaches and technologies to enhance training delivery and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably in a remote or virtual environment.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and virtual training tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate remote learners.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Analytical skills to assess training needs, evaluate program effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting.
