Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR system users experiencing technical issues or requiring assistance.
- Diagnosed and resolved problems related to HR software applications, including but not limited to payroll systems, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and performance management tools.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level technical support or development teams when necessary and ensure timely resolution.
- System Maintenance and Upgrades:
- Monitor HR systems for performance issues and implement regular maintenance procedures to ensure optimal functionality.
- Assist with system upgrades and patches, coordinating with IT and HR teams to minimize disruptions.
- Test new features or system enhancements to ensure compatibility and effectiveness.
- User Training and Documentation:
- Develop and deliver training sessions for HR staff and employees on system usage, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Create and maintain detailed user guides, training materials, and FAQs to support system users.
- Provide ongoing support to address any questions or concerns related to HR technology.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Assisted in managing HR data, ensuring accuracy and security according to company policies and legal requirements.
- Generate and analyze reports related to HR system usage, performance, and user feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with HR and IT teams to develop data-driven insights and recommendations for system enhancements.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with HR, IT, and other relevant departments to understand their needs and ensure HR systems meet organizational requirements.
- Communicate effectively with end-users to provide clear instructions, updates on issue resolution, and general support.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and projects to contribute technical expertise and insights.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements related to HR technology and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in HR technology to ensure the organization remains competitive and up-to-date.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelorโs degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical support, preferably within an HR or related environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with HR software systems, including payroll, ATS, and performance management tools. Familiarity with database management, system integration, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Customer Service: Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Adaptability: Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in relevant HR technology or IT support areas (e.g., HRIS certifications, CompTIA A+).
- Experience with specific HR systems used in the organization (if applicable).
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices related to HR data management.
