HR Data Analyst

Salary: $90,274 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection & Analysis:
- Collect, clean, and analyze HR data from various sources, including employee databases, surveys, and performance metrics.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights into HR trends, employee performance, and workforce planning.
- Reporting & Visualization:
- Create detailed reports and visualizations to present findings to HR leadership and other stakeholders.
- Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and tailored to the needs of the audience.
- Strategic Insights:
- Identify patterns and trends in HR data to support strategic initiatives such as talent acquisition, employee retention, and workforce development.
- Provide recommendations based on data analysis to improve HR practices and policies.
- HR Metrics & KPIs:
- Develop and monitor key HR metrics and performance indicators, including turnover rates, employee engagement scores, and recruitment effectiveness.
- Track and report on progress towards HR goals and objectives.
- Data Integrity & Security:
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR data by implementing and maintaining data quality controls.
- Adhere to data privacy regulations and company policies to protect sensitive employee information.
- Process Improvement:
- Analyze existing HR processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Collaborate with HR teams to design and implement enhancements that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with HR business partners, managers, and other departments to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Facilitate data-driven decision-making by providing clear and concise explanations of data findings.
- Project Management:
- Lead or participate in HR data-related projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to meet organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within an HR environment. Experience with HRIS systems, data analytics tools, and HR metrics is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms and data management systems.
- Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data findings clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
