HR Technology Project Manager
Location: Remote
Salary: $131,147 per annum
Position Overview:
We seek a highly skilled and motivated HR Technology Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this remote role, you will lead and manage complex HR technology projects that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our HR operations. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including HR, IT, and external vendors, to ensure the successful implementation and optimization of HR systems and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of HR technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope and budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resources, and risk management strategies.
- Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and make adjustments as necessary to meet project goals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with HR leaders, IT teams, and other key stakeholders to gather requirements, define project objectives, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Facilitate regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and changes.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants to ensure the successful delivery of third-party solutions and services.
- Technology Implementation:
- Oversee the implementation and integration of HR technology solutions, including HRIS, applicant tracking systems, learning management systems, and other HR tools.
- Ensure that technology solutions meet business requirements and comply with data privacy and security regulations.
- Conduct testing and validation of new systems and features to ensure they function correctly and meet user needs.
- Process Improvement:
- Analyze current HR processes and technology systems to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance system functionality, user experience, and overall HR efficiency.
- Provide recommendations for technology upgrades, enhancements, or new solutions based on industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Training and Support:
- Develop and deliver training programs for HR staff and end-users to ensure effective utilization of HR technology systems.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for HR technology issues, working closely with IT support teams and vendors as needed.
- Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Reporting and Analytics:
- Generate and analyze reports related to HR technology performance, user adoption, and system utilization.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting on project status, performance metrics, and key deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field. An advanced degree or certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus.
- Proven experience managing HR technology projects, including successfully implementing and optimizing HR systems.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and technology solutions, including HRIS, ATS, LMS, and related tools.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana) and HR technology systems.
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment is preferred.
