Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Virtual Classroom Facilitator to join our dynamic team. In this remote role, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and interactive learning environment for students in an online setting. You will utilize your expertise in instructional design, technology integration, and communication to enhance the learning experience and promote student success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Facilitate Online Learning:
   • Conduct live virtual classes, ensuring clarity in presentation and communication.
   • Foster an inclusive atmosphere where all students feel comfortable participating.
2. Course Development:
   • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop engaging course materials and activities.
   • Implement best practices in instructional design to enhance course effectiveness.
3. Student Engagement:
   • Use various digital tools and platforms to create interactive lessons that promote student involvement.
   • Encourage discussions and group activities that stimulate critical thinking and collaboration.
4. Assessment and Feedback:
   • Design and administer assessments to evaluate student performance and understanding.
   • Provide timely, constructive feedback to students to support their learning journey.
5. Technical Support:
   • Assist students with technical issues related to the virtual learning platform.
   • Stay updated on emerging educational technologies and incorporate them into the curriculum as appropriate.
6. Performance Tracking:
   • Monitor student progress and attendance, identifying at-risk students and providing necessary support.
   • Prepare reports on student performance for stakeholders.
7. Professional Development:
   • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your facilitation skills and knowledge of best practices in virtual education.
8. Collaboration:
   • Work closely with other educators and administrative staff to align course content with overall educational goals.
   • Engage in regular meetings to discuss strategies for improving the online learning experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience in teaching or facilitating online courses.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and virtual classroom technologies.
• Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other digital collaboration tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with multimedia content creation and online assessment tools.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive teaching practices.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
