Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated E-Learning Developer to join our dynamic team. This remote position is ideal for an individual who is passionate about creating engaging, effective, and innovative e-learning solutions. The E-Learning Developer will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), instructional designers, and other stakeholders to design, develop, and implement high-quality e-learning courses and training materials that meet the needs of our diverse audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Course Development: Design and develop interactive e-learning courses using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software. Ensure courses are visually appealing, pedagogically sound, and align with learning objectives.
- Collaboration with SMEs: Work closely with SMEs to gather content and insights necessary for course development. Translate complex information into easily understandable learning materials.
- Instructional Design: Apply instructional design principles and theories to create effective learning experiences. Conduct needs assessments and learner analysis to identify target audience requirements.
- Content Management: Organize, manage, and maintain digital content and learning resources. Ensure all materials are updated, relevant, and accessible to learners.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews and testing of e-learning modules to ensure accuracy, usability, and adherence to best practices. Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and make necessary revisions.
- User Experience (UX) Design: Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance learner engagement. Utilize best practices in UX design to ensure seamless navigation and accessibility for all users.
- Learning Management System (LMS) Administration: Assist in the deployment of e-learning courses within our LMS. Monitor course enrollments, progress, and completion rates, and generate reports to evaluate course effectiveness.
- Evaluation and Feedback: Implement assessment tools and strategies to measure learning outcomes. Gather and analyze feedback from learners to continuously improve course content and delivery methods.
- Trends and Technologies: Stay current with the latest trends in e-learning, instructional design, and technology. Propose innovative solutions and enhancements to improve the overall learning experience.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in e-learning development or instructional design. Proven track record of creating successful e-learning courses and training programs.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate), graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), and LMS platforms. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic programming concepts is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Experience in project management methodologies is advantageous.
- Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and with cross-functional stakeholders. Flexibility and adaptability in a remote work environment are essential.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience in evaluating and interpreting data to inform decisions and improvements.
