Key Responsibilities

Develop and Optimize Embedded Firmware

• Architect and write reliable, efficient firmware in C/C++ for embedded microcontrollers.
• Optimize firmware performance for low-power, memory-constrained environments.
• Design scalable codebases that support ongoing feature expansion

System Integration & Validation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate firmware with hardware and software layers.
• Perform comprehensive unit and system-level tests to validate functionality and reliability.
• Debugging tools like JTAG and oscilloscopes are used to validate and troubleshoot designs.

Agile Collaboration & Feature Delivery

• Work in agile sprints, participating in planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Take ownership of feature delivery from conception to deployment
• Provide technical input during product definition and hardware planning phases

Tools and Work Environment

Advanced Toolchain and Hardware Access

• Utilize industry-standard development environments such as Keil, IAR, or VS Code.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience developing firmware for embedded systems (3+ years preferred)
• Proficiency in C/C++, with a strong understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• Familiarity with serial protocols like I2C, SPI, UART
• Ability to read schematics and work closely with hardware engineers
• Comfortable with version control systems like Git

Nice-to-Have Extras
