- Conduct stray light assessment, tolerance modeling, and image quality evaluation.
- Convert system-level performance goals into functional optical designs
Prototyping and Testing Support
- Partner with engineers across disciplines to develop and evaluate functional prototypes
- Remotely assist with optical assembly verification and integration procedures
- Analyze test outcomes to iterate and enhance optical setups
Documentation and Communication
- Produce concise technical briefs, test summaries, and design reviews
- Clearly explain optical strategies and trade-offs in virtual team discussions
- Maintain thorough design records for traceability and future development
Collaboration and Innovation
