Key Responsibilities

API Architecture & Development

• Design and implement RESTful and event-driven APIs from the ground up.
• Build microservices that follow domain-driven design principles.
• Create scalable authentication and authorization systems using OAuth2 and JWT.

Performance & Reliability

• Optimize API endpoints for speed, fault tolerance, and memory efficiency.
• Integrate caching layers using Redis or Memcached.
• Use rate limiting and throttling techniques to maintain service integrity.

Documentation & Standards

• Produce OpenAPI specifications and maintain up-to-date documentation.
• Follow API versioning best practices to ensure backward compatibility.
• Enforce standards through linters, schema validation, and CI pipelines.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with frontend and mobile developers to streamline integration.
• Liaise with DevOps engineers to automate deployment workflows.
