Key Responsibilities

Test Planning and Execution

Develop and Execute Tests

• Design, develop, and execute robust test cases for mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Perform regression, exploratory, and automated testing across devices and screen sizes.

Collaborate Across Teams

• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to gain insights into user journeys and feature objectives.

Issue Identification and Tracking

Report and Prioritize Bugs

• Identify, document, and prioritize bugs using tools like JIRA or TestRail.

Communicate and Collaborate

• Proactively communicate risks, inconsistencies, and improvements in product behavior.
• Guide cross-functional teams through critical test outcomes.

Continuous Improvement

Drive Quality Processes

• Advocate for consistent QA practices across mobile projects.

Enhance CI/CD

• Support the refinement of CI/CD pipelines for mobile releases.

Provide Feedback

• Offer meaningful feedback in retrospectives and team reviews.

Tools and Technologies

Mobile Testing Frameworks

• Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or similar tools for cross-platform automated testing.

DevOps and Collaboration Platforms

• Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise for automated testing and deployment.
• Slack, Confluence, and Zoom for day-to-day team communication and documentation.

Test Management & Reporting

• TestRail, Zephyr, or similar platforms for managing test cases.
• Familiarity with crash reporting and monitoring tools like Firebase Crashlytics or Sentry.

Qualifications and Experience

Must-Have Skills

Core QA Expertise

• 3+ years of experience in mobile QA engineering, ideally in a remote QA team.
• Solid understanding of mobile ecosystems (iOS and Android) and mobile app architecture.
• Proficient in manual and automated testing.

Communication and Collaboration

• Strong communication skills, with an apparent ability to explain technical issues to non-technical teammates.
