What You’ll Be Doing
Core Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, developers, and operations engineers to define quality standards across CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks integrated with DevOps workflows.
- Monitor test environments and identify performance bottlenecks, system outages, and errors during deployments.
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies that ensure software reliability under real-world conditions.
- Contribute to code reviews and pair programming sessions with development teams to identify QA concerns early.
- Log and track bugs precisely and empathetically, facilitating smooth communication between QA and engineering teams.
- Maintain testing tools, deployment pipelines, and standard operating procedures documentation.
Collaborative Engineering
- Partner closely with SRE and DevOps teams to enforce security, scalability, and stability requirements through automated validations
- Provide meaningful feedback in retrospectives and sprint planning sessions
- Participate in daily standups with distributed QA squads to align on test priorities and deadlines

Skills and Experience We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a QA role within a DevOps or software engineering environment
- Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
- Adept at working independently and collaboratively across remote teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Exposure to performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling
- Comfort with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Experience working in a fully remote, distributed environment
