Role Overview

As our Remote QA Scrum Tester, you'll embed quality at every stage of the software development lifecycle. Working closely within a Scrum team, you’ll design and execute exploratory and automated tests, identify bugs with flair, and ensure our digital solutions consistently exceed expectations. Key Responsibilities

Collaborate Cross-Functionally

• Work daily with Scrum Masters, developers, product owners, and fellow testers in agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
• Participate in backlog grooming and provide insight into test scope and effort.

Design and Execute Smart Tests

• Write detailed, behavior-driven test cases and scenarios that reflect user stories.
• Perform regression, functional, and exploratory testing across web and mobile platforms.

Own the Defect Life Cycle

• Identify, document, and track bugs with clarity and priority.
• Champion quality by retesting and closing issues in alignment with sprint goals.

Promote Agile Testing Practices

• Integrate testing in CI/CD pipelines with the team’s DevOps efforts.
• Evolve test strategies based on retrospectives and sprint reviews.

• Use visualization tools to communicate defect trends and insights.
