What You’ll Do: Champion Creativity, Virtually Everywhere

As our Remote Intellectual Property Attorney, you'll work at the intersection of technology, art, and law, advising clients on how to secure and assert their IP rights with clarity and strategy. Key Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute patent and trademark applications with precision and a strategic lens.
• Provide legal analysis and advice on copyright, trade secret, and IP licensing matters.
• Counsel startups, entrepreneurs, and enterprises on portfolio management and enforcement strategies.
• Represent clients in IP litigation, oppositions, and administrative proceedings.
• Perform legal research on global IP issues and contribute to thought leadership pieces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues, including engineers, designers, and data professionals.
• Review and negotiate intellectual property (IP)- related agreements, including non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), joint ventures, and licensing contracts.

Qualifications and Experience

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law institution
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 5+ years of experience in intellectual property law (patents, trademarks, copyrights)
• Demonstrated expertise in either patent prosecution or IP litigation
• Comfortable advising clients in a remote setting with professionalism and clarity
