About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Compensation and Benefits Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Compensation and Benefits Analyst, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing our compensation and benefits programs. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Compensation Analysis and Design:
    • Conduct thorough market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation structures.

    • Develop and maintain job descriptions, salary ranges, and pay grades to support equitable and competitive compensation practices.

    • Collaborate with benefits vendors and brokers to negotiate and manage contracts and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

    • Collect, analyze, and interpret compensation and benefits data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
    • Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management on compensation and benefits matters.
    • Monitor and analyze compensation metrics, such as salary ranges, pay equity, and turnover rates, to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  4. Compliance and Policy Development:
    • Ensure that compensation and benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations and industry standards.
    • Develop and update compensation and benefits policies and procedures to reflect changes in legislation and best practices.
    • Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  5. Employee Support and Communication:
    • Act as a point of contact for employees regarding compensation and benefits inquiries, providing clear and accurate information.
    • Conduct compensation and benefits presentations and training sessions to educate employees about available programs and changes.
    • Foster a positive employee experience by addressing concerns and providing timely resolution of compensation and benefits issues.
  6. Project Management:
    • Lead and manage compensation and benefits-related projects, including system upgrades, policy changes, and program evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A relevant certification (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compensation and benefits analysis or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in compensation and benefits software, HRIS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
