Position Overview: The Corporate E-learning Developer will design, develop, and implement high-quality e-learning content tailored to corporate environments. You will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), instructional designers, and stakeholders to create impactful digital learning experiences that align with organizational goals. This role demands creativity, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of adult learning principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. E-learning Content Development:
    • Design and develop interactive and visually appealing e-learning modules, simulations, and assessments.
    • Utilize e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and similar platforms.
    • To enhance learner engagement, incorporate multimedia elements, including videos, animations, and audio.
  2. Instructional Design Integration:
    • Collaborate with instructional designers to ensure content aligns with learning objectives and corporate training standards.
    • Apply instructional design models like ADDIE or SAM to create effective and efficient learning solutions.
    • Develop storyboards and prototypes to communicate design ideas and gather feedback.
  3. Content Customization and Localization:
    • Customize e-learning solutions to meet the specific needs of diverse audiences and corporate teams.
    • Implement localization strategies to adapt content for global learners.
    • Ensure inclusivity and accessibility standards are met in all e-learning products.
  4. Learning Management System (LMS) Integration:
    • Upload, test, and maintain e-learning content within the organizationโ€™s LMS.
    • Ensure compatibility with SCORM, xAPI, and other e-learning standards.
    • Monitor and resolve technical issues related to e-learning delivery.
  5. Collaboration with SMEs and Stakeholders:
    • Partner with SMEs to transform complex topics into engaging and digestible learning materials.
    • Liaise with corporate stakeholders to gather requirements and incorporate feedback.
    • Maintain effective communication to ensure alignment throughout the development process.
  6. Quality Assurance and Evaluation:
    • Conduct thorough testing of e-learning modules to ensure functionality, usability, and design quality.
    • Gather learner feedback and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
    • Continuously refine and update content based on feedback and emerging trends.
  7. Trends and Innovation:
    • Stay updated on the latest e-learning trends, technologies, and best practices.
    • To enhance e-learning solutions, explore and integrate emerging tools like gamification, AR/VR, and AI.
    • Propose innovative approaches to improve engagement and knowledge retention.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, Multimedia Development, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in e-learning development, particularly in a corporate training environment.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
  • Experience with multimedia tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and video/audio editing software.
  • Knowledge of LMS platforms and standards like SCORM and xAPI.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Certification in e-learning development or instructional design is a plus.
