Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Digital Workplace Mediator to join our remote team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our digital workplace solutions facilitate effective collaboration and communication across our diverse and distributed workforce. As a Digital Workplace Mediator, you will bridge the gap between technology and human interaction, driving the adoption and optimization of digital tools and platforms to enhance productivity and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Collaboration Management:
- Facilitate the seamless integration and utilization of digital collaboration tools such as video conferencing, team messaging platforms, and document-sharing systems.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve collaboration workflows and ensure that digital tools meet the evolving needs of the organization.
- User Support and Training:
- Provide expert guidance and support to employees on the effective use of digital workplace tools.
- Conduct training sessions, create user guides, and develop educational materials to help employees maximize the potential of digital tools.
- Conflict Resolution:
- Mediate and resolve conflicts arising from the use of digital tools and platforms, ensuring that issues are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Act as a liaison between users and IT support to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Policy Development and Enforcement:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and enforce policies and best practices related to digital workplace tools and remote work.
- Monitor compliance with digital workplace policies and address any deviations or issues.
- Change Management:
- Lead change management efforts related to the implementation of new digital tools or updates to existing systems.
- Communicate changes effectively to users and manage their transition to new technologies.
- Feedback and Improvement:
- Collect and analyze feedback from users to assess the effectiveness of digital tools and identify areas for improvement.
- Work with technology vendors and internal teams to implement enhancements and address user concerns.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze usage data and generate reports on the effectiveness and adoption of digital workplace tools.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Project Management:
- Manage projects related to the deployment and optimization of digital workplace solutions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including department heads and IT leaders, to understand their needs and align digital workplace strategies accordingly.
- Act as a point of contact for stakeholder inquiries related to digital workplace initiatives.
- Innovation and Trends:
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the digital workplace space.
- Propose innovative solutions and technologies to enhance the digital workplace experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a role related to digital workplace management, IT support, or user experience.
- Strong understanding of digital collaboration tools and remote work best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mediate conflicts and provide clear guidance.
- Experience in training and supporting users on digital tools and platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in project management or digital workplace tools.
- Experience with change management and policy development in a digital context.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques.
Work Environment:
- This is a remote position, and candidates should have a dedicated home office space with reliable internet connectivity.
