Salary: $111,431 per annum

Position Overview:

We seek a dynamic and experienced E-Commerce Account Manager to join our remote team. In this role, you will manage and optimize e-commerce accounts to drive revenue growth and enhance customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce, a proven track record of managing multiple accounts, and a strategic mindset to implement innovative solutions that meet both customer needs and company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Account Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key e-commerce clients, acting as the primary point of contact for account-related inquiries.
    • Regularly communicate with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and needs, providing tailored solutions and strategies for success.
    • Monitor and analyze account performance metrics, such as sales, traffic, and conversion rates, to assess and report on progress toward client goals.
  2. Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive e-commerce strategies that align with their business goals and target audience.
    • Create and implement action plans to optimize product listings, improve site functionality, and enhance customer experience.
    • Develop and execute promotional campaigns, including seasonal sales, special offers, and new product launches, ensuring maximum impact and ROI.
  3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of e-commerce strategies and initiatives.
    • Provide clients with regular performance reports and insights, highlighting successes, opportunities for improvement, and recommendations for future actions.
    • Identify trends and patterns in customer behavior and market conditions to inform strategic adjustments and new initiatives.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of e-commerce strategies and initiatives.
    • Coordinate with the content and design teams to develop engaging and effective product listings, advertisements, and website content.
    • Share insights and best practices with internal stakeholders to foster continuous improvement and innovation within the e-commerce function.
  5. Problem Resolution:
    • Address and resolve any issues or challenges with e-commerce accounts, including technical problems, fulfillment issues, or customer complaints.
    • Proactively identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate any negative impact on account performance.
  6. Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
    • Use market insights to recommend and implement strategies that enhance competitive advantage and drive business growth.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce account management, digital marketing, or a related field. Proven track record of managing multiple e-commerce accounts and driving measurable results.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in e-commerce or digital marketing are a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, and online consumer behavior.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively.
    • Analytical mindset with proficiency in using data to drive decision-making and performance improvement.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Proficiency in relevant e-commerce and marketing tools like Google Analytics, CRM systems, and content management platforms.
