Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and develop e-learning content that meets educational objectives.
- Using various e-learning authoring tools and platforms, create interactive and multimedia-rich online courses that include text, audio, video, simulations, and assessments.
- Develop and implement course structure, navigation, and interactive elements to ensure a seamless and engaging learning experience.
- Content Management:
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to upload, manage, and track e-learning content, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance across different devices and platforms.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of existing e-learning materials to incorporate feedback, address emerging needs, and ensure content remains current and relevant.
- Quality Assurance:
- Thoroughly test e-learning modules before deployment to identify and resolve technical issues, usability concerns, and content inaccuracies.
- Monitor learner feedback and performance data to assess the effectiveness of e-learning programs and make necessary adjustments to enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project goals, timelines, and deliverables and ensure alignment with educational strategies.
- Provide clear and timely communication regarding project progress, potential challenges, and solutions to team members and stakeholders.
- Innovation and Improvement:
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and e-learning and instructional design best practices.
- Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance the learner experience, improve engagement, and optimize course delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in e-learning development, instructional design, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle, Blackboard, or Canvas.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and user experience best practices.
- Excellent technical skills, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and multimedia production.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging,ย interactiveย e-learning content that meets diverse learner needs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with SCORM, xAPI (Tin Can API), and other e-learning standards.
- Familiarity with graphic design and video editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices for creating inclusive e-learning content.
