Key Responsibilities:
- Course Design and Development:
- Create engaging and interactive e-learning content that meets educational objectives and aligns with the latest instructional design principles.
- Develop multimedia elements, including videos, simulations, and interactive activities, to enhance the learning experience.
- Utilize authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to build and deploy online courses.
- Instructional Design:
- Analyze learning needs and objectives to design effective course structures and content.
- Instructional design models such as ADDIE or SAM should be applied to guide the development process.
- Ensure content is pedagogically sound, accessible, and adheres to best practices in e-learning.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple e-learning projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content and verify accuracy.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide updates, and address feedback.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough testing and quality checks of e-learning modules to ensure functionality, accuracy, and user-friendliness.
- Implement feedback and make necessary revisions to improve course effectiveness and learner satisfaction.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance e-learning solutions continually.
- Learner Support:
- Provide technical support and guidance to learners with e-learning platforms or content issues.
- Monitor learner progress and assess the effectiveness of e-learning programs through data analysis and feedback.
- Develop and deliver training materials or tutorials to help users navigate and utilize e-learning tools effectively.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including instructional designers, graphic designers, and developers, to ensure cohesive and high-quality e-learning solutions.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders, regularly updating project status and potential challenges.
- Foster a collaborative environment and contribute to the overall success of the e-learning team.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelorโs degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field. Masterโs degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in e-learning design and development, including proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
- Technical Skills: Strong familiarity with LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard), multimedia design, and web-based technologies.
- Instructional Design Expertise: Proven experience applying instructional design principles and creating compelling online learning experiences.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception to completion, including handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and improve e-learning effectiveness based on learner feedback and performance data.
