E-Learning Specialist (Remote)

Annual Salary: $97,664

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated E-Learning Specialist to join our dynamic team. This remote position offers the opportunity to design, develop, and implement engaging online learning experiences that enhance knowledge retention and improve learner outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of instructional design expertise, technical proficiency, and a passion for educational technology.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Instructional Design & Development:
   • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyze learning needs and objectives.
   • Design and develop high-quality e-learning modules using various authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
   • Create interactive and multimedia content, including videos, quizzes, and simulations, to enhance learner engagement.
2. Project Management:
   • Manage multiple e-learning projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
   • Develop project plans and schedules, tracking progress and adjusting as necessary to meet deadlines.
   • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any challenges that arise.
3. Learning Management System (LMS) Administration:
   • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the LMS, ensuring it meets the needs of learners and administrators.
   • Monitor course enrollments, completions, and assessments, generating reports to analyze learner engagement and performance.
   • Provide support and training for instructors and learners on how to effectively use the LMS.
4. Assessment & Evaluation:
   • Design and implement assessment tools to evaluate learner performance and course effectiveness.
   • Analyze assessment data to identify areas for improvement in course design and delivery.
   • Gather feedback from learners and SMEs to inform iterative improvements to e-learning content.
5. Research & Innovation:
   • Stay current with trends and best practices in e-learning and instructional design.
   • Explore and recommend new technologies and methodologies that enhance the learning experience.
   • Conduct pilot tests of new e-learning initiatives, collecting and analyzing data to inform decision-making.
6. Training & Support:
   • Develop and deliver training sessions for faculty and staff on e-learning best practices and tools.
   • Provide ongoing technical support to learners, troubleshooting issues and ensuring a smooth learning experience.
   • Create user guides and documentation to facilitate the adoption of e-learning tools and resources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design and e-learning development.
• Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
