Annual Salary: $58,160

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized HR Administrator to join our dynamic team. As an HR Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in managing various human resources functions, ensuring smooth and efficient operations of the HR department. This remote position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
    • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate and timely candidate information.
  2. Employee Records Management:
    • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) with accurate and up-to-date information.
    • Process employee changes, including promotions, transfers, and terminations, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and filed appropriately.
    • Handle confidential employee information with the utmost discretion and adhere to data protection regulations.
  3. Benefits Administration:
    • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
    • Coordinate with benefits providers to resolve issues and ensure accurate benefits administration.
    • Conduct regular benefits audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  4. Payroll Administration:
    • Support the payroll process by verifying and processing employee timecards, calculating hours, and addressing payroll-related inquiries.
    • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Assist with year-end payroll tasks, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
  5. Compliance and Policy Management:
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
    • Conduct periodic audits of HR practices to ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
  6. Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
    • Support employee engagement initiatives and assist in resolving workplace issues and conflicts.
    • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  7. Training and Development:
    • Assist in organizing and coordinating training programs and workshops for employees.
    • Maintain training records and track employee participation and progress.
    • Support the development and delivery of onboarding and ongoing training materials.
  8. Administrative Support:
    • Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining HR documentation.
    • Assist with special HR projects and initiatives as needed.
    • Maintain an organized and efficient remote work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an HR administrative role or similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS systems, ATS, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with employees and stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a remote work environment.
