HR Generalist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated HR Generalist to join our remote team. The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in managing various human resources functions, ensuring smooth operations, and supporting the overall HR strategy. Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and offer negotiation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on candidate selection.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and effective integration into the company culture.
- Conduct new hire orientations and prepare onboarding materials.
- Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support on HR policies and procedures.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation efforts to maintain a positive work environment.
- Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and analyze results to recommend improvements and enhance employee engagement.
- Compliance and Policy Management:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Update and maintain employee handbooks and HR policies to reflect changes in legislation and organizational needs.
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes and records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Performance Management:
- Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
- Provide training and resources to managers and employees on performance management best practices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans as needed.
- Compensation and Benefits Administration:
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and benefits enrollment.
- Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation and benefits packages.
- Manage employee benefits inquiries and coordinate with benefits providers to resolve issues.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate the development and delivery of training programs.
- Support employees in their professional development by recommending and facilitating learning opportunities.
- Track and measure the effectiveness of training programs to ensure they meet organizational goals.
- HR Reporting and Analytics:
- Maintain and analyze HR metrics and reports to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Prepare reports on various HR activities, including turnover, employee demographics, and compliance.
- Use HR data to provide insights and recommendations for improving HR practices and employee experience.
- HR Systems and Records Management:
- Manage HR systems and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, job history, and performance data.
- Assist with HR system upgrades and implementations as needed.
- Project Management:
- Lead or participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and employee experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement HR-related projects and strategies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely and effective completion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Experience with HR software and systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
- Experience working in a remote or virtual work environment.
- Familiarity with various HR metrics and reporting tools.
Working Conditions:
