HR Generalist

Position Overview:
We seek a dynamic and dedicated HR Generalist to join our remote team. The HR Generalist will be crucial in managing various human resources functions, ensuring smooth operations, and supporting the overall HR strategy. Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the entire recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and offer negotiation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on candidate selection.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and effective integration into the company culture.
- Conducted new hire orientations and prepared onboarding materials.
- Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support on HR policies and procedures.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation efforts to maintain a positive work environment.
- Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and analyze results to recommend improvements and enhance employee engagement.
- Compliance and Policy Management:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Update and maintain employee handbooks and HR policies to reflect changes in legislation and organizational needs.
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes and records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Performance Management:
- Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
- Provide training and resources to managers and employees on performance management best practices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans as needed.
- Compensation and Benefits Administration:
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and enrollment.
- Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation and benefits packages.
- Manage employee benefits inquiries and coordinate with benefits providers to resolve issues.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate the development and delivery of training programs.
- Support employees in their professional development by recommending and facilitating learning opportunities.
- Track and measure the effectiveness of training programs to ensure they meet organizational goals.
- HR Reporting and Analytics:
- Maintain and analyze HR metrics and reports to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Prepare reports on HR activities, including turnover, employee demographics, and compliance.
- Use HR data to provide insights and recommendations for improving HR practices and employee experience.
- HR Systems and Records Management:
- Manage HR systems and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, job history, and performance data.
- Assist with HR system upgrades and implementations as needed.
- Project Management:
- Lead or participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and employee experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement HR-related projects and strategies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely and effective completion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Experience with HR software and systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
- Experience working in a remote or virtual work environment.
- Familiarity with various HR metrics and reporting tools.
Working Conditions:
- This is a fully remote position with flexible working hours.
- Occasional travel may be required for team meetings or training.
