Position Title: HR Systems Consultant
Location: Remote
Annual Salary: $144,245

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Systems Consultant to join our team in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources technology and a proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing HR systems. This role involves providing expert guidance on HR systems implementation, management, and optimization to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. HR Systems Implementation:
    • Lead the implementation of HR systems, including but not limited to Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements and ensure they align with organizational needs and goals.
    • Develop and execute project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
    • Oversee data migration and integration processes to ensure seamless system transitions and minimal disruption to HR operations.
  2. System Optimization and Management:
    • Continuously assess and optimize existing HR systems to enhance performance, functionality, and user experience.
    • Monitor system performance metrics and address any issues or inefficiencies promptly.
    • Develop and implement best practices for system usage, including user training, documentation, and support.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement system improvements.
  3. Consulting and Advisory Services:
    • Provide expert consultation on HR systems-related matters, including system selection, configuration, and customization.
    • Advise HR leadership and other stakeholders on system capabilities, limitations, and potential enhancements.
    • Conduct needs assessments and feasibility studies to support decision-making and strategic planning.
    • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance end-user proficiency and system adoption.
  4. Data Management and Reporting:
    • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within HR systems through regular audits and validation processes.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
    • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to address data-related issues and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  5. Support and Troubleshooting:
    • Provide tier 2 and 3 support for HR systems-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
    • Act as a liaison between HR, IT, and system vendors to facilitate effective issue resolution and system enhancements.
    • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of common issues and solutions to streamline support processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR systems consulting, implementation, or management, with a focus on HRIS, ATS, or LMS.
  • Demonstrated experience with HR systems configuration, data migration, and integration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex systems and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven project management skills, including experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with data protection regulations and best practices for managing sensitive HR data.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and software, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and experience with system reporting and analytics tools.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a remote position, and the candidate will work from a home office.
  • Occasional travel may be required for client meetings, system implementations, or training sessions.

Compensation:
