Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Technology Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This remote position requires a professional who excels in managing complex HR technology projects, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering innovative solutions to optimize our human resources operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HR technology, project management, and strategic planning, with a proven track record of successfully implementing and managing HR systems and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management:
    • Lead end-to-end project management for HR technology initiatives, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including HR, IT, and business units, to ensure project alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular updates to senior management.
  2. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
    • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to identify and document project requirements, objectives, and scope.
    • Conduct thorough needs assessments to ensure technology solutions address specific HR challenges and opportunities.
    • Analyze current HR processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and recommend technological enhancements.
  3. System Implementation and Integration:
    • Oversee the selection, implementation, and integration of HR technology solutions, including HRIS, talent management systems, and payroll systems.
    • Work closely with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure successful system deployment and integration with existing infrastructure.
    • Manage system configuration, data migration, and user acceptance testing to ensure seamless transitions and minimal disruptions.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including HR teams, IT departments, and external vendors.
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders to address project-related issues, concerns, and changes.
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users to ensure effective adoption and utilization of new systems and technologies.
  5. Change Management:
    • Develop and execute change management strategies to support the successful adoption of new HR technology solutions.
    • Prepare and deliver communication plans, training materials, and user guides to facilitate smooth transitions and minimize resistance.
    • Monitor and address user feedback to continuously improve system functionality and user experience.
  6. Budget and Resource Management:
    • Manage project budgets, ensuring that expenditures are within allocated limits and providing cost estimates for future projects.
    • Allocate resources effectively, including assigning tasks, managing workloads, and addressing any resource constraints or conflicts.
    • Evaluate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring that deliverables are met and service levels are maintained.
  7. Compliance and Security:
    • Ensure that HR technology solutions comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including data protection and privacy requirements.
    • Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard sensitive HR data and protect against unauthorized access or breaches.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance and identify potential areas for improvement.
  8. Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in HR technology and project management.
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation within HR technology processes and systems.
    • Provide recommendations for enhancing system performance, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within an HR technology or related environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR technology systems, including HRIS, talent management, and payroll systems.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, including planning, execution, and delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or PMP.
  • Experience with change management principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile).
  • Experience with specific HR technology platforms or tools (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, ADP).
  • Knowledge of HR compliance and security best practices.
