Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HRIS Manager to join our dynamic team. As an HRIS Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the implementation, management, and optimization of our Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This remote position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment while contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- HRIS Administration and Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all HRIS-related inquiries and issues.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the HRIS, including user administration, data entry, and system configuration.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for HRIS users, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- System Implementation and Optimization:
- Lead the planning, execution, and management of HRIS implementations and upgrades.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document system requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure accuracy and functionality.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Oversee the maintenance of HRIS data integrity, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Develop and generate regular and ad-hoc reports and analytics to support HR decision-making and strategic planning.
- Monitor system performance and data accuracy, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues.
- Process Improvement:
- Evaluate and recommend enhancements to HRIS processes and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for automation and integration with other systems to streamline HR operations.
- Stay current with industry best practices and trends in HRIS technology.
- Training and Development:
- Provide training and support to HR team members and end-users on HRIS functionality and best practices.
- Develop and maintain user documentation, guides, and training materials.
- Facilitate ongoing training sessions and knowledge sharing to ensure effective system usage.
- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure HRIS compliance with relevant data protection regulations and organizational policies.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive HR data.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure data accuracy and system security.
- Vendor Management:
- Liaise with HRIS vendors and service providers to manage system performance, resolve issues, and ensure service level agreements are met.
- Evaluate and recommend third-party solutions and tools to enhance HRIS capabilities.
- Project Management:
- Lead or participate in HRIS-related projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and new feature implementations.
- Develop project plans, manage timelines, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masterโs degree or relevant certifications (e.g., HRIS certification) is a plus.
- Proven experience as an HRIS Manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of HRIS systems, processes, and best practices.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors) and related technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Strong project management skills, with experience leading system implementations and process improvements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to maintaining data integrity and security.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
Working Conditions:
- This is a fully remote position, allowing for flexibility in work location.
- Occasional travel may be required for vendor meetings, conferences, or team events.
- Standard working hours are expected, with flexibility for occasional off-hours support as needed.
