Job Overview:

We seek an innovative and highly skilled Instructional Designer to join our team remotely. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating engaging and effective learning experiences and has a proven track record of designing instructional materials that meet diverse educational needs. The successful candidate will work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop, implement, and refine educational programs that enhance learner outcomes and drive organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Course Development: Design and develop high-quality instructional materials, including online courses, e-learning modules, and multimedia content. Ensure that materials are pedagogically sound, engaging, and aligned with learning objectives.
2. Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify learning gaps and determine the specific requirements of various stakeholders. Use this data to inform the development of instructional content and strategies.
3. Instructional Design: Apply instructional design theories, models, and methodologies to create effective and efficient learning experiences. Develop instructional strategies that accommodate different learning styles and preferences.
4. Content Creation: Create and curate educational and engaging content, including text, graphics, videos, and interactive elements. Ensure that the content is accurate, relevant, and up to date.
5. Learning Management Systems (LMS): Develop, upload, and manage courses within LMS platforms. Ensure that courses function correctly, track learner progress, and meet technical requirements.
6. Evaluation and Feedback: Implement assessment tools and evaluation methods to measure the effectiveness of instructional materials. Gather feedback from learners and stakeholders to continually improve course content and delivery.
7. Collaboration: Work with subject matter experts, instructors, and other stakeholders to gather content, review drafts, and ensure that instructional materials meet their needs and expectations.
8. Project Management: I manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met, and projects are delivered on time and within scope. I use project management tools and techniques to track progress and communicate effectively with team members.
9. Training and Support: Train instructors and learners using instructional materials and LMS platforms. Address any technical issues or concerns that arise.
10. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in instructional design, e-learning, and educational technology. Apply new knowledge and techniques to enhance instructional materials and processes.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating experience designing and developing various instructional materials, including e-learning modules and online courses.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with instructional design software and tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, and LMS platforms. Familiarity with HTML/CSS and other web technologies is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess learning needs, design effective instructional solutions, and evaluate their impact.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, committed to producing high-quality, accurate, and error-free instructional materials.
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
