Position Overview:
We are seeking an innovative and experienced Learning Experience Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Learning Experience Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing engaging and impactful learning experiences for diverse audiences. This role requires a deep understanding of instructional design principles, cutting-edge educational technologies, and user-centered design methodologies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for creating exceptional learning solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development:
- Create comprehensive learning experience designs that incorporate adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and best practices in user experience (UX) design.
- Develop engaging and interactive learning content, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, simulations, and assessments.
- Utilize a variety of media and tools (such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Learning Management Systems) to enhance the learning experience.
- Needs Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify learning gaps, audience requirements, and performance improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define learning objectives, outcomes, and success metrics.
- Develop and implement learning strategies that align with organizational goals and address identified needs.
- User-Centered Design:
- Apply user-centered design principles to ensure learning experiences are intuitive, accessible, and engaging.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine and enhance learning solutions.
- Analyze learner data and feedback to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
- Project Management:
- Lead the end-to-end development process for learning projects, including planning, design, development, and deployment.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources effectively to ensure on-time and within-budget completion.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, designers, and developers, to achieve project goals.
- Innovation and Trends:
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in learning experience design and instructional technology.
- Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance the learning experience and keep content relevant and engaging.
- Share insights and recommendations with the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of learning materials and experiences through rigorous review and testing processes.
- Implement and maintain quality standards for all learning content and deliverables.
- Address and resolve any issues related to content accuracy, functionality, and user experience.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including managers, team members, and external partners, to understand needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, to convey design concepts, project updates, and learning strategies.
- Provide guidance and support to team members and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelorโs degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in instructional design or learning experience design are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or a related field. Proven experience in designing and developing e-learning solutions and interactive content.
- Skills:
- Strong proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Excellent understanding of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and user-centered design principles.
- Ability to analyze data and feedback to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and project status to various audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in designing learning experiences for a variety of industries or domains.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies such as virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) in learning.
- Experience with data analytics and performance measurement tools.
