Learning Experience Designer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and motivated Learning Experience Designer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development:
- Develop and design engaging, interactive, and effective learning experiences across various platforms including eLearning modules, virtual classrooms, and blended learning environments.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content and understand the learning objectives.
- Create instructional materials such as lesson plans, multimedia content, and assessments that align with educational best practices and adult learning principles.
- Utilize design tools and authoring software (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) to produce high-quality learning materials.
- Needs Assessment and Analysis:
- Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps in knowledge and skills and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
- Analyze learner feedback, performance data, and other metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and make data-driven improvements.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in instructional design and learning technologies.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple learning design projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including project managers, graphic designers, and developers, to ensure alignment and quality.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, documentation, and progress reports.
- User Experience:
- Create user-centric learning experiences that are engaging, accessible, and inclusive.
- Design learning experiences that accommodate different learning styles and levels of prior knowledge.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to enhance the learner experience.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Implement and monitor best practices for instructional design and eLearning development.
- Seek out and participate in professional development opportunities to continually enhance skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the creation and improvement of learning design standards and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Adult Learning, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design or learning experience design, with a proven track record of creating effective and engaging learning solutions.
- Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software.
- Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and user experience design.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and engagingly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate and improve learning programs based on data and feedback.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in gamification and interactive learning experiences.
- Familiarity with graphic design and multimedia production tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices in online learning.
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
