Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to join our team. This remote role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in LMS management, technical support, and instructional design. As an LMS Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of our LMS platform, contributing to the overall effectiveness of our learning and development programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. LMS Management:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the LMS, including user account management, course creation, and system updates.
    • Ensure the LMS platform is functioning optimally, performing regular system checks, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with technical support as needed.
    • Implement and manage system integrations with other platforms, tools, or databases to enhance the functionality and data accuracy of the LMS.
  2. User Support:
    • Provide technical support and training to end-users, including learners, instructors, and administrators, ensuring they can effectively use the LMS.
    • Address and resolve user inquiries, issues, and technical problems in a timely and professional manner.
    • Develop and maintain user guides, FAQs, and training materials to assist with LMS navigation and usage.
  3. Course and Content Management:
    • Collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy courses and learning materials within the LMS.
    • Monitor and manage course enrollments, completions, and certifications, ensuring compliance with training requirements and deadlines.
    • Regularly review and update course content to ensure it remains current, relevant, and aligned with organizational goals.
  4. Reporting and Analytics:
    • Generate and analyze reports on LMS usage, learner progress, and course effectiveness to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of learning initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
    • Maintain accurate records of user activity, course completions, and compliance status.
  5. System Maintenance and Upgrades:
    • Stay current with LMS updates, new features, and best practices to ensure the platform remains cutting-edge and effective.
    • Coordinate with vendors or internal IT teams for system upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
    • Conduct regular audits of the LMS to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  6. Project Management:
    • Lead and manage LMS-related projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements, develop timelines, and ensure successful project delivery.
    • Monitor project progress, address any issues or risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Education, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as an LMS Administrator or similar role, with a deep understanding of LMS platforms and their functionalities.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in LMS software, database management, and system integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing user support and training, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with e-learning content development and instructional design is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards related to LMS management.
