Job Overview:
We seek a detail-oriented and highly organized Online Assessment Coordinator to manage and oversee the administration of online assessments. This remote position is ideal for a motivated individual with strong project management skills and a passion for educational evaluations. The Online Assessment Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of online assessments, maintaining the integrity and reliability of the assessment process, and supporting both test-takers and administrators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment Administration:
- Coordinate and oversee online assessments' scheduling, setup, and administration, ensuring compliance with established procedures and standards.
- Monitor the performance of online assessment platforms to ensure reliability and functionality.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to online assessments and provide timely solutions to minimize disruptions.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for test-takers, providing support and guidance throughout the assessment process.
- Collaborate with assessment administrators, educators, and other stakeholders to ensure all parties are informed and prepared for upcoming assessments.
- Address and resolve any inquiries or concerns test-takers or administrators raise professionally and promptly.
- Quality Assurance:
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of online assessments.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of assessment processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of assessment tools and platforms, making recommendations for enhancements as needed.
- Data Management:
- Manage and maintain assessment data, including test results and feedback, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Prepare and analyze reports on assessment outcomes, participant performance, and system usage to provide actionable insights.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of assessment results to stakeholders.
- Training and Support:
- Develop and deliver training materials and resources for test-takers and administrators to facilitate effective use of online assessment tools.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to users, addressing any issues or challenges they may encounter.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in online assessment to continuously improve processes and practices.
- Project Management:
- Plan and coordinate the implementation of new online assessment initiatives, including pilot programs and system upgrades.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful execution of assessment projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integrating online assessment solutions with other educational technologies.
- Compliance and Security:

Qualifications:
- A bachelorโs degree in education, information technology, or a related field, as well as an advanced degree or certification in assessment or project management, is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing online assessments or similar educational programs, with a strong understanding of assessment practices and technologies.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency with online assessment platforms and troubleshooting technical issues.
