Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Online Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our team in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing compensation and benefits programs across a diverse and growing organization. This role requires a deep understanding of compensation structures, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance, as well as exceptional analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Compensation Management:
    • Develop, implement, and maintain competitive compensation programs to attract and retain top talent.
    • Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure compensation structures are aligned with industry standards and organizational goals.
    • Design and administer salary structures, incentive programs, and pay-for-performance schemes.
    • Analyze compensation data and trends to recommend adjustments and improvements.
    • Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to address compensation-related concerns and support strategic planning.
  2. Benefits Administration:
    • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other perks.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding employee benefits.
    • Manage relationships with benefit providers and negotiate contracts to obtain the best value for the organization and employees.
    • Conduct benefits surveys and analyze data to make recommendations for enhancements or changes to the benefits package.
    • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding benefits enrollment, claims, and other related inquiries.
  3. Compliance and Reporting:
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
    • Prepare and submit required reports and filings to regulatory agencies.
    • Stay current with industry trends, changes in legislation, and best practices to ensure the organizationโ€™s programs remain competitive and compliant.
  4. Employee Communication and Support:
    • Develop and deliver clear and effective communication materials to educate employees about compensation and benefits programs.
    • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding compensation and benefits-related questions and issues.
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance employees' understanding of their total compensation and benefits packages.
  5. Data Management and Analysis:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date compensation and benefits data in HRIS systems.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
    • Analyze compensation and benefits metrics to assess program effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations.
  6. Project Management:
    • Lead and manage special projects related to compensation and benefits, such as program evaluations, system implementations, and process improvements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and alignment with organizational objectives.
  7. Strategic Planning:
    • Partner with senior leadership to align compensation and benefits strategies with overall business goals and objectives.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and organizational growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Masterโ€™s degree or professional certification (e.g., CCP, CEBS) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits management, with a strong focus on online and remote work environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation principles, benefits administration, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience with compensation benchmarking, salary surveys, and benefits negotiation.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and compensation management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
