Overview: We seek a meticulous and proactive Online Demand Planning Analyst to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Demand Forecasting:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and seasonal patterns.
- Utilize statistical models and forecasting tools to predict future product demand with precision.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to gather insights and adjust forecasts.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze sales data, inventory levels, and market trends to identify demand patterns and anomalies.
- Create detailed reports and dashboards to present forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Use data insights to recommend actionable strategies for inventory management and procurement.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory.
- Work closely with supply chain and procurement teams to align inventory levels with forecasted demand.
- Implement inventory optimization techniques to improve turnover rates and reduce carrying costs.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Act as a liaison between various departments, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment of demand planning activities.
- Communicate forecast changes, inventory issues, and demand shifts to relevant stakeholders promptly.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making processes.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to improve demand planning accuracy and efficiency.
- Review and refine forecasting models and methodologies to adapt to changing market conditions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to leverage new tools and techniques.
- System Management:
- Utilize demand planning software and tools to automate and streamline forecasting processes.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within demand planning systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to demand forecasting and inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or a related analytical role.
- Proficiency in demand planning software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with statistical forecasting models and inventory optimization techniques is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
