About the Role:
As an Online Distribution Coordinator, you will be pivotal in managing and optimizing product distribution across various online platforms. You will ensure that products are accurately listed, optimally priced, and consistently available across all e-commerce channels. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills, an analytical mindset, and a passion for e-commerce. As a remote position, the Online Distribution Coordinator will have the flexibility to work from any location while collaborating with a dynamic team of professionals across different time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Listing Management:
- Coordinate the listing of products across various online marketplaces, including Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and the company's e-commerce website.
- Ensure all product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate and up-to-date.
- Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling product descriptions that enhance the visibility and appeal of products.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels across all online platforms and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure products are always in stock.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
- Analyze sales data to forecast demand and make recommendations for stock replenishment.
- Pricing Strategy:
- Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies that align with the company's overall sales goals.
- Monitor competitors' pricing and adjust the company's pricing strategy accordingly.
- Utilize dynamic pricing tools to optimize real-time prices based on market conditions.
- Order Fulfillment Coordination:
- Oversee the order fulfillment process, ensuring all orders are processed and shipped promptly.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
- Resolve any issues related to order discrepancies, returns, or customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Performance Analysis:
- Analyze sales performance across different online channels to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales revenue, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide actionable insights to the management team to inform strategic decisions.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key online marketplace partners.
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for the listing and promoting of products on third-party platforms.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience across all online channels.
- Digital Marketing Collaboration:
- Work closely with the digital marketing team to plan and execute online campaigns that drive traffic and sales to the company's e-commerce channels.
- Optimize product listings for search engine visibility (SEO) to enhance organic traffic.
- Monitor the effectiveness of online marketing efforts and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all product listings comply with the policies and guidelines of each online marketplace.
- Conduct regular quality checks on product listings to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Stay informed of changes in e-commerce regulations and adapt strategies accordingly.
Required Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelorโs degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field. - Experience:
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in e-commerce, online distribution, or a related field is required. Experience with major online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, and Walmart is highly preferred. - Technical Skills:
Proficiency in e-commerce platforms and tools like Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce. Familiarity with online marketplace management tools like ChannelAdvisor or SellerCloud. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools. - Soft Skills:
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment. - Other Requirements:
