Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Online Education Technology Coordinator to join our team. This position is integral to advancing our digital learning initiatives and enhancing the overall educational experience through technology. As a key player in our remote team, you will work closely with educators, instructional designers, and technology specialists to implement and optimize online learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technology Integration:
    • Oversee the deployment and management of online education tools and platforms, ensuring they align with instructional goals and enhance the learning experience.
    • Collaborate with instructional designers and educators to integrate technology seamlessly into the curriculum, guiding best practices and innovative approaches.
  2. Support and Training:
    • Provide technical support to educators, students, and staff, resolving issues related to online learning platforms, tools, and resources.
    • Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops on new technologies, tools, and best practices for online teaching and learning.
  3. System Administration:
    • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within online education platforms.
    • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with IT teams to ensure the stability and security of online learning environments.
  4. Content Management:
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of online course content, ensuring it is accessible, up-to-date, and aligned with educational standards.
    • Support the conversion of traditional materials into digital formats and the creation of interactive learning modules.
  5. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze data related to online course usage, learner engagement, and performance to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
    • Generate regular reports on system usage, support requests, and training outcomes, sharing findings with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
  6. Innovation and Research:
    • Stay informed about emerging trends and advancements in educational technology, evaluating new tools and technologies for potential adoption.
    • Conduct research on best practices in online education and technology integration, applying findings to enhance the effectiveness of our programs.
  7. Project Management:
    • Lead and manage technology-related projects, including the implementation of new tools, system upgrades, and platform migrations.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  8. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with faculty, instructional designers, and IT personnel to identify technology needs and develop solutions that meet educational objectives.
    • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, providing updates on technology initiatives and responding to feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Educational Technology, Information Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in managing and supporting online learning platforms, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), and other educational technologies.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and best practices for online education.
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues promptly.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs for educators and learners.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading technology-related projects.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Knowledge of current trends and emerging technologies in online education.
