Online Grant Program Coordinator

Position Overview:
The Online Grant Program Coordinator is pivotal in overseeing and managing grant programs to ensure their successful implementation and alignment with organizational goals. This remote position requires an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual who can effectively coordinate grant activities, engage with stakeholders, and support the program's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management:
- Develop, implement, and manage grant programs from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to program guidelines, timelines, and budgets.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance, adjusting to ensure successful outcomes and compliance with grant requirements.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, evaluations, and other documentation as grant funders require.
- Grant Administration:
- Oversee the application and award process for grants, including reviewing proposals, coordinating with applicants, and making recommendations for funding.
- Manage grant agreements and contracts, ensuring all parties fulfill their obligations and reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of grant activities, expenditures, and outcomes, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- I will serve as the primary point of contact for grantees, applicants, and funders, providing guidance and support throughout the grant process.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between grantees, partners, and internal teams to foster strong relationships and enhance program effectiveness.
- Organize and conduct training sessions, webinars, and workshops to educate stakeholders on grant processes and best practices.
- Financial Oversight:
- Monitor grant budgets and expenditures, ensuring proper allocation of funds and compliance with financial regulations.
- Review and approve financial reports and reimbursements submitted by grantees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to grant terms.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile financial records and address discrepancies.
- Data Management:
- Maintain and update grant management systems and databases, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
- Analyze program data to identify trends, assess performance, and inform decision-making.
- Prepare and present data-driven reports and presentations to stakeholders and senior management.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure grant programs comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Identify and address potential risks and issues related to grant management, implementing strategies to mitigate them.
- Conduct regular audits and review grant activities to ensure compliance and improve program processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, public administration, business administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in grant management, program coordination, or a related role. Experience in a remote work environment is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in grant management software, database systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of grant regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices in grant management.
- Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- This remote position allows flexible work from home or anywhere with reliable internet access.
