Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Online Learning Experience Designer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Course Design and Development:
    • Develop engaging and interactive online learning experiences that meet the needs of various learners.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design course content, including instructional materials, assessments, and multimedia elements.
    • Apply instructional design theories and best practices to create effective learning modules.
  2. Learning Experience Optimization:
    • Analyze learner data and feedback to continuously improve course content and delivery.
    • Utilize learning analytics to measure the effectiveness of learning experiences and make data-driven recommendations for enhancements.
    • Implement instructional design frameworks and models, such as ADDIE and SAM, to guide course development and revision.
  3. Technology Integration:
    • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and tools to enhance online learning experiences.
    • Stay current with advancements in e-learning technologies and trends to ensure courses leverage the latest innovations.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues related to course delivery and provide solutions to ensure a seamless learning experience.
  4. Project Management:
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
    • Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including instructional designers, multimedia developers, and developers, to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
  5. Content Creation:
    • Create high-quality, visually appealing instructional materials, including presentations, interactive activities, and assessments.
    • Develop and maintain style guides and templates to ensure consistency across all course materials.
    • Conduct thorough content reviews and revisions to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
  6. Learner Engagement and Support:
    • Design and implement strategies to engage learners and enhance their overall learning experience.
    • Develop support resources, such as user guides and FAQs, to assist learners in navigating online courses.
    • Provide guidance and support to learners throughout their educational journey, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  7. Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct quality assurance reviews of online courses to ensure they meet established standards and learning objectives.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to improve course quality.
    • Ensure all content is accessible and adheres to accessibility standards and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience designing and developing online learning experiences in a professional setting.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and e-learning best practices.
  • Proficiency with authoring tools and learning management systems (LMS), such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with multimedia creation tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, is a plus.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and the ability to use learning analytics to drive improvements.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices for creating inclusive learning experiences.
