Key Responsibilities:
- Pay Equity Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive pay equity analyses to identify and address disparities in compensation based on gender, race, ethnicity, and other relevant factors.
- Develop and implement strategies to rectify pay gaps and ensure equitable compensation practices across all job levels and departments.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on pay equity findings, recommendations, and action plans for senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret compensation data from various sources to assess pay equity and identify trends.
- Utilize advanced statistical methods and tools to conduct in-depth analyses and provide actionable insights.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compensation data, including adjustments and reconciliations.
- Policy Development and Implementation:
- Collaborate with HR and compensation teams to develop and refine pay equity policies and procedures.
- Ensure compensation policies comply with federal, state, and local regulations and industry best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pay equity initiatives and recommend improvements as needed.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries related to pay equity matters.
- Work closely with HR, legal, and finance teams to address pay equity issues and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide guidance and training to managers and HR professionals on pay equity principles and best practices.
- Compliance and Auditing:
- Conduct regular audits of compensation practices to ensure compliance with pay equity regulations and internal policies.
- Identify potential compliance risks and work with relevant teams to develop and implement corrective actions.
- Stay informed about pay equity laws and regulations changes and adjust policies and practices accordingly.
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage pay equity projects from inception to completion, including defining project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.
- Monitor project progress, address issues, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelorโs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field. A masterโs degree or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional) is preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in compensation analysis pay equity or a related field, with a proven track record of managing pay equity initiatives.
- Skills:
- Expertise in compensation data analysis and statistical methods.
- Strong understanding of pay equity laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in using compensation management software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and understandably.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and providing strategic recommendations.
