Position Overview:

We seek a skilled and detail-oriented Online Policy Impact Analyst to join our team in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background and experience in evaluating the impact of online policies and regulations. This role involves researching, analyzing, and interpreting data related to digital policy and providing actionable insights to guide strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Policy Analysis and Evaluation:
   • Conduct comprehensive analyses of existing and proposed online policies, including privacy regulations, data protection laws, and digital content regulations.
   • Assess the impact of these policies on various stakeholders, including users, businesses, and regulatory bodies.
   • Develop and maintain detailed reports on policy implications, highlighting potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
2. Data Collection and Research:
   • Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from diverse sources to support policy evaluations.
   • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and developments in online policy and digital regulation.
   • Perform comparative analyses of policies across different regions and sectors to identify best practices and potential gaps.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
   • Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, compliance, and product development, to provide insights and recommendations on policy-related issues.
   • Engage with external stakeholders, including industry experts, regulatory bodies, and advocacy groups, to gather feedback and understand diverse perspectives.
   • Facilitate workshops and presentations to communicate findings and advocate for policy changes or enhancements.
4. Reporting and Documentation:
   • Prepare and deliver detailed reports and presentations summarizing research findings, policy impacts, and strategic recommendations.
   • Ensure all documentation is accurate, precise, and aligned with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
   • Maintain comprehensive records of policy analyses and research activities for future reference and audit purposes.
5. Strategy and Recommendations:
   • Provide strategic recommendations based on policy impact assessments to inform organizational decision-making and strategy.
   • Identify opportunities for policy improvements and propose actionable solutions to address identified issues.
   • Support the development of policy-related strategies and initiatives that align with organizational goals and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, Economics, Data Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in policy analysis, regulatory compliance, or a related field, with a focus on online or digital policies preferred.
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing and presenting detailed reports.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SPSS, or similar.
  • Familiarity with online policy frameworks, digital regulations, and industry standards.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote work environment.
