Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Risk Assessment and Analysis:
   • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats in our online systems and processes.
   • Analyze risk data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
   • Evaluate the effectiveness of current risk management practices and make improvements as necessary.
2. Risk Mitigation Strategies:
   • Develop and implement robust risk management strategies to address identified risks and vulnerabilities.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that risk mitigation measures are integrated into all aspects of online operations.
   • Monitor and review risk management processes to ensure they remain practical and up-to-date.
3. Cyber Security:
   • Stay current with cyber threats and security technologies to enhance the organization’s defense mechanisms.
   • Oversee the implementation of cyber security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
   • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and address potential security gaps.
4. Incident Response:
   • Lead incident response efforts in a cyber attack or security breach.
   • Develop and maintain incident response plans, including communication, containment, and recovery procedures.
   • Analyze security incidents to determine their root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
   • Prepare detailed reports on risk assessment findings, mitigation strategies, and incident responses.
   • Maintain accurate documentation of risk management activities, security incidents, and compliance efforts.
   • Present risk analysis reports and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
6. Collaboration and Training:
   • Work closely with IT, legal, and compliance teams to ensure cohesive risk management practices across the organization.
   • Provide training and guidance to staff on risk awareness, cyber security best practices, and compliance requirements.
   • Foster a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk management within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA) is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in risk analysis, cyber security, or a related field, with a strong track record of successfully managing and mitigating online risks.
• In-depth knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, cyber security practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with risk management tools and software and a solid understanding of cyber threats and attack vectors.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
