Job Overview:

As an Online Risk Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our company's digital assets and reputation by identifying, assessing, and mitigating online risks. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of online risk management, cybersecurity principles, and emerging threats in the digital landscape. You will be responsible for developing and implementing risk control strategies, monitoring online activities, and responding swiftly to potential threats.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, cybersecurity, or a related field, with experience in handling online threats such as fraud, data breaches, and cyberattacks. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Risk Identification and Assessment:
    • Continuously monitor and analyze online activities to identify potential risks, including cyber threats, fraud, phishing attempts, and other malicious activities.
    • Conduct thorough risk assessments to determine the likelihood and impact of identified threats, and prioritize risks based on their potential consequences.
    • Utilize advanced tools and technologies to detect anomalies, vulnerabilities, and suspicious behaviors that could compromise the company's online security.
  2. Risk Mitigation and Control:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive risk control strategies to mitigate identified risks and prevent potential security breaches.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that risk control measures are integrated into all aspects of the company's online operations.
    • Design and enforce policies and procedures that promote a secure online environment and minimize exposure to risks.
  3. Incident Response and Management:
    • Act as the first line of defense in responding to online threats, including cyberattacks, data breaches, and fraud incidents.
    • Coordinate with IT and security teams to investigate incidents, contain threats, and implement recovery measures.
    • Document incidents, conduct post-incident analysis and provide recommendations for improving risk control measures.
  4. Continuous Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Establish and maintain real-time monitoring systems to track online activities, detect potential risks, and respond promptly to emerging threats.
    • Prepare regular reports on the status of online risks, including key metrics, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
    • Communicate risk-related information to senior management, providing insights into potential impacts and advising on risk management strategies.
  5. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
    • Ensure that the company's online risk control measures comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in online risk management, cybersecurity, or a related role, with a proven track record of managing and mitigating online risks.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk assessment methodologies, and online threat detection tools. Proficiency in using security software, monitoring systems, and risk management frameworks.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations, identify risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex risk-related information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
