Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Design and Development:
- Develop comprehensive training curricula for online platforms, ensuring alignment with educational objectives and learner needs.
- Create engaging and interactive course materials, including presentations, videos, quizzes, and assignments.
- Continuously update and refine course content based on feedback, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Online Instruction:
- Conduct live and pre-recorded training sessions using various online tools and platforms.
- Facilitate discussions, answer questions, and support learners throughout the training process.
- Employ a variety of instructional techniques to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
- Learner Assessment and Feedback:
- Design and implement assessment tools to measure learner progress and understanding.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to learners on their performance.
- Analyze assessment data to identify trends and areas for improvement in both learner performance and course content.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Offer technical assistance to learners encountering issues with online platforms and tools.
- Collaborate with IT and support teams to resolve technical problems and enhance the user experience.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry best practices, educational technologies, and emerging trends in online learning.
- Contribute to developing new training programs and initiatives based on research and learner needs.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance instructional skills and knowledge.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content.
- Communicate effectively with learners, colleagues, and management to facilitate smooth course delivery and address any issues.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of learner progress, attendance, and assessment results.
- Prepare reports on training outcomes, learner feedback, and course effectiveness for management to review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in online teaching or educational technology are a plus.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering online training programs or courses.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles, e-learning technologies, and online teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners in a virtual environment.
- Proficiency with online learning platforms (e.g., LMS, webinar tools) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with multimedia content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia).
