Position Overview:

We seek a skilled and analytical Online Supply Chain Data Analyst to join our dynamic team remotely. In this role, you will leverage data-driven insights to enhance our supply chain operations. You will analyze complex datasets, develop reports, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize supply chain performance and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background, proficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools, and a deep understanding of supply chain management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
   • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the supply chain.
   • Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports to provide visibility into supply chain performance metrics, including inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and supplier performance.
   • Generate regular ad-hoc reports for stakeholders, highlighting key findings and actionable insights to support decision-making processes.
2. Supply Chain Optimization:
   • Evaluate and improve existing supply chain processes by analyzing data and identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and operations, to implement data-driven strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
   • Utilize advanced statistical techniques and predictive analytics to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and minimize supply chain disruptions.
3. Data Management and Integration:
   • Implement data quality control measures and validation processes to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of supply chain data.
   • Integrate data from multiple sources, including ERP systems, inventory management tools, and external data providers, to create a unified view of the supply chain.
   • Develop and maintain data pipelines and automated workflows to streamline data collection, processing, and reporting activities.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Partner with internal teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support for supply chain-related projects and initiatives.
   • Communicate complex data insights and findings clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
   • Present data-driven recommendations and strategies to senior management to support strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
5. Continuous Improvement:
   • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices for supply chain management and data analysis.
   • Identify opportunities for leveraging new tools and technologies to enhance data analysis capabilities and improve supply chain operations.
   • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance technical skills and knowledge in the field.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Data Analyst or in a similar role within supply chain management, logistics, or operations.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools like SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets, develop actionable insights, and present findings to diverse audiences.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Solid understanding of supply chain processes, including inventory management, procurement, logistics, and demand forecasting.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
