Position Overview:
We seek a skilled and analytical Online Supply Chain Data Analyst to join our dynamic team remotely. In this role, you will leverage data-driven insights to enhance our supply chain operations. You will analyze complex datasets, develop reports, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize supply chain performance and drive business growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the supply chain.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports to provide visibility into supply chain performance metrics, including inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and supplier performance.
- Generate regular ad-hoc reports for stakeholders, highlighting key findings and actionable insights to support decision-making processes.
- Supply Chain Optimization:
- Evaluate and improve existing supply chain processes by analyzing data and identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and operations, to implement data-driven strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Utilize advanced statistical techniques and predictive analytics to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and minimize supply chain disruptions.
- Data Management and Integration:
- Implement data quality control measures and validation processes to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of supply chain data.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including ERP systems, inventory management tools, and external data providers, to create a unified view of the supply chain.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and automated workflows to streamline data collection, processing, and reporting activities.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Partner with internal teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support for supply chain-related projects and initiatives.
- Communicate complex data insights and findings clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Present data-driven recommendations and strategies to senior management to support strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices for supply chain management and data analysis.
- Identify opportunities for leveraging new tools and technologies to enhance data analysis capabilities and improve supply chain operations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance technical skills and knowledge in the field.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Data Analyst or in a similar role within supply chain management, logistics, or operations.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools like SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets, develop actionable insights, and present findings to diverse audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes, including inventory management, procurement, logistics, and demand forecasting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
